Programs: October General Meeting
will be held October 14, 2008
Website
·
Holly has been adding the BRAGTS and EBRPSS G/T reports to the website.
·
E-mail notification has been sent to the general membership regarding the
October 14 Open Meeting and the October 16 School Board Meeting.
·
Near Term: Holly Hart will
transition with Richard Truman to keep the current website up to date.
·
Longer Term: Holly will lead effort
to evaluate options including rebuilding website from scratch on a different
service provider. All recognize
what a significant undertaking this would be, thus the need to study our
options.
Plans for October 14 Open Meeting
·
Don presented a (lengthy) compilation of activities from the past year to review
in the October 14 meeting.
·
The group discussed the merits and needs of brevity versus detail in the
presentation and made suggestions to optimize the presentation.
·
Don will take the recommendations and modify the October 14 presentation
accordingly.
BRAGTS Officers
·
Elections are needed for some positions.
Plan is to conduct the elections after the Fall Open Meeting – with new
Board members recruited from the meeting.
The members present at the August meeting unanimously approved an
exception to the By-Law requirement of August elections in order to conduct
elections after the Fall Open Meeting.
